A sneaky trick that can instantly improve your copy…

This morning I finished the first draft of a sales letter for a client…

And it’s currently sitting at 8,200 words in length. 📇

That’s before the FAQs though…

So the final draft will probably be closer to 9,000 words.

Now what’s kind of funny is that while there’s nothing “out of the norm” here when it comes to the length of the letter…

The actual product I’m writing for is only $11.

And you may hear that and think that writing such a long letter for such a low-ticket product is a little bit crazy…

But one sneaky little trick I’ve been using for a long time…

Is to add another $0 to the price of whatever offer I’m writing for.👌

So if the product is $11, I pretend it’s $110…

Or if it’s $97, I pretend it’s $970.

Why do I do this?

Simple…

I know that I’m going to sell a lot harder if the product is $110…

So rather than thinking, “It’s only eleven bucks…”

I tell myself:

“Man, I gotta sell an eBook for $110??

This copy better be really good!”

This little shift completely changes my mindset when writing copy…

And I think it’s one of the reasons I’ve been so successful.

I don’t let myself “off the hook” with a low-priced offer…

Instead, I go just as hard as I would if it was a higher ticket offer…

And the result is that once the prospect has gone through all that copy…

Become sold on its efficacy and its value…

And then sees that the damn thing is only $11…

How the hell do they not buy?

That’s what I’m wanting to happen at least…

And I’m super happy with this new letter and how it turned out…
